ROLLEM RE-LAUNCH POPULAR SYSTEM
Rollem has relaunched its semi-slitting system as a result of enquiries from all around the world.
Semi-slitting, also known as kiss cutting and back slitting can be used for many different applications.
The system can be used to cut and fold greeting cards and to pre-slit pressure sensitive labels. It can also be used to slit the backing of self-adhesive vinyl strips, usually into 25mm strips, to make it easier to remove and apply the vinyl.
Optional tooling is available to add the semi-slitting system to most of the Rollem range of machines. Dedicated semi-slitting machines are also available.
The semi-slit system includes a Vernier adjustment. This ensures a precise cutting depth, creating high quality accurately finished slits. HSS blades or Carbide are available.
